  I had my first at 17! It’s not the end of the world and it doesn’t automatically classify her as a whore either!! Everything happens for a reason and this will be the best unplanned “surprise” she will ever get! I now have 4 kids with my one and only and we have no regrets. Congrats to her and best of luck!

  U kno what..i had my first baby when i was only 14 yrs old. My first time having sex. and it was NOT the end of the world.Yes it was tough but my son is 3 yrs old and we are doing great. Plus my husband..also my sons father is still in the picture.I just had my 2nd child and my family is doin great. MY due date is June 19th and I’m 20 and probally weigh the same as she does and I’m hardly showing so I’m almost certain those pictures are shopped cuz I’m almost a month ferther than her and I’m STILL able to wear my size 3 jeans.she’s 22 weeks that isn’t very far along people.stop the ‘bump search’ for about a month and MAYBE you’ll get a shot of one.as for JL don’t be ashamed girl.a pregnant belly is one of the most beautiful things in the world. And pregnancy is one of the sexiest phases ur body goes through. Your doing the right thing. And don’t be afraid cuz its in ur lap now and that makes it obvious you were BORN to do this. You said it yourself that they are teenage moms,therefore you should understand that they are still young (possibly even still in middle or high school) and don’t know everything.Cut them some slack. I’m almost 20 and am due to have my little girl in June. Being almost 20 and married, I do not consider myself a teenaged mother, but I’m not far from it and I can tell you right now that becoming a mom is hard enough on people who are married with that support from the expectant father and are not still in school. These girls don’t need people like you putting them down. If you are so much older or so much more mature,and god forbid, more “educated” then you should know that what they need is support from those of us who are older. Do you think they don’t already know that they messed up? Thing is having a baby is a pretty rewarding messup. It has its struggles but I don’t know a teenage mother who would ever take back their mistake. Your child is your child no matter what age a woman chooses (or not chooses) to have a baby. If she is old enough to have sex then she’s old enough to reap the rewards from it. You act like having a child is such a burdon. At 17 though some girls don’t have a developed enough uterus to carry a baby so I’m sure you’ll be sucessful this time since your trying again.   My little cousin just had a baby, she was 17 when she fell pregnant i will admit i was sceptical and negitive at first and actually a little jelious but i have seen her with the baby and although she hasnt been the best person with regurds to drink and drugs she doesnt even smoke ciggerates or drink anymore and shes a wonderful mother. i believe some things happen for a reason but i dont think she should give that child to her mum. Can you imagen how he/she will feel later in life when they find out they were giving up to there gran!

  Ha ha, do you know what partial sentences are? Point out one. All my sentences are complete. Yes, I do believe that teen moms need direction from older, more mature women. However, these teen mom’s are talking about it like it’s a great thing to do. One teen on here even said she is 16 and “wants one”. That is just insane. Saying that being a teen mom is a “rewarding mistake” is just stupid too. Especially considering most of them, not all but most, just leave their kids for their mom’s to raise. Look, you can get mad about my view if you want, but it is the majority view if you don’t poll a bunch of stupid kids who have NO FREAKING IDEA what it means to be a mom. They have these ridiculous fantasies that having a baby will give them “someone who will love them” or a cute little baby doll to dress up. But in reality having kids is HARD. I am a (adult) mother of 3 and I know you have to get past the selfish stage of childhood yourself before you are fit to be a mom. The fact that these girls want a baby to “love them” just proves they are selfish. You don’t have a baby for what it can do for you. Soon they will realize babies TAKE much more love than they provide. Good luck to all the teens who are trying to have babies when they are still babies themselves. I am sorry they apparently didn’t get the love they needed from their own parents and will likely fail their own children just as they were failed by their own parents. I feel sorry for each and every one of you. Stay in school and learn the basics. For example: Use capital letters at the beginning of your sentences, always use a capital “I” when referring to yourself, and when a sentences ends, use a period before starting another one. Here is an example of an idiot:

  I’m going to be late for school? See that would require be being in school. I recieved a degree from Harvard when I was 15, went to medical school and graduated last year. I’m now a radiologist. I don’t want to hear from you miss “I did things the right way”….in the right order might I say…there is no right order to life. If that little girl wants to have a baby whose to say she can’t? When I was 16 I was in med school! I was ready as ever to get married or have a baby, mind you I didn’t want to then, but still, who knows if she is or isn’t ready? Age is a number. I’m 20 and have lived twice what many 30 year olds have. I’ve been an adult since I was 12. Just not legally. See I might have gotten pregnant before I married but at least I had a career, a very nice home (which I officially OWN today! Yay! Made the last payment on Friday!),and I also have very commited fiancé who will become my husband next month. See your way might be the easy way but there are other ways that work just as well if not better.I don’t reccomend motherhood to anyone who is still in school. But some 16 year olds are either home schooled or are in college and if they can raise a child who are we to stop them? And about my post yesterday….that was a bundle of frustration from you and from working a 12 hour shift. So you didn’t deserve all of that. I’m sorry. But really, do either of us belong on this post? Were both too old to be doing this.And I’m far too damn busy.I’m only still here because ive been arguing with you.And because of occasional boredom between clients. Like right now. My 9 30 Monday client died in E.R last night but he was 75 years old….so,whatever. He was dying anyway.actually most people I see every day are dying anyway. That’s why they come to me….   Im tired of people bashing Jamie for one mistake. Even though she made this mistake, she has to life with it! So leave her alone. It is not even fair for people to call her a whore because we arent even sure the conditions she was under when she got pregnant. Maybe she did practice safe sex and maybe something went wrong! She obviously knew the consequences of her actions, but who are we to say that it is completely her fault! What is wrong you people. Teens are getting pregnant all the time and its usually for one simple reason: Absent father figure.   Good Luck to Jamie Lynn, since the news broke of her pregnancy i do not like her less. I think she is mature enough to handle this and i wish her all the best with everything that comes her way, and i know this will be a difficult time for her.

  My son loves Jamie Lynn! At first when I heard of her being pregnant I almost made him stop watching her show. But the younger fans realy have no idea that this is going on.her situation did prompt me to have “the talk” with my son though and he is 9 years old and it was long since due. I thank Jamie Lynn for bringing up this sensitive topic it prompted moms around the U.S to pay attention to their children. There’s nothing wrong with 16 year olds having kids as long as they are more mature than their peers. So good luck Jamie Lynn!!! Oh and by the way honestly the only people on this site who make any sense are Tiffany and Sarah though…. Everyone else is just kinda allover the place and very hard to follow.   I said I wasn’t going to come back but had a feeling people were going to keep this going. I DIDN’T think it would go this far. I don’t know how many Sarahs are on here but to the one I wrote to…I wasn’t saying things to be mean I was saying it because I didn’t want other people to start on you and to tell you that you don’t need to prove ANYTHING to ANYONE.   Thank you Heather.. my Question is to Jamie Lynn how big is she going to get .. I hope it isn’t one of those pregnancy that her belly looks like a watermelon.. She is so tiny.. Wow . And wondering how healthy she is going to eat you know you have to eat healthy b/c all that junk well pack on to the trunk…lol.. And if it is a girl i wonder what the name is going to be..   That’s okay heather. I got a bit angry at first but it doesn’t matter what others think ive always felt that way. I wasn’t lying though. And Lauren….I think I might remember you. Is your son the one who had autism? I’m sorry I remember him that way but that’s the only distinctive feature I can think of. Was it Ms Blackwells class first semester because I transferred out 2nd semester and then came back for senior year.

  Also to comment about Jamie :-) The first time I was pregnant I was 16 and I was very young and immature so ended up having an abortion :-( I regreted it EVERY day and ended up REALLY depressed over it. A few months ago I got pregnant (actually at the same time as Jamie, and was due at the same time as her) well I ended up having a miscarriage. Now I just found out I am pregnant again..I came to this site to see how big she was. My husband and I were laughing and trying to see how big I would be. The point is I made a mistake and had an abortion and ended up regretting it. I should have changed my life, stopped being so selfish and had the baby. I didn’t. I give her credit for having it. She could have had an abortion and took her easy way out…Everything happens for a reason. Even tho you may not understand it at the time. Now I am married and having a baby (hopefully everything will work out this time) Obviously Jamie got pregnant for a reason. Leave the girl alone and stop prejudging her. If she ends up a screw up then talk about her……By the way I didn’t write this so people could insult me either..

  Heather i know how you feel on that.. when i misscarried it hurt me so..It was so bad that i was hospitalized for 3 days.. i couldn’t move and they said i was about 4 months.. Ihope everything goes well with her pregnancy she is so young i hope she doesn’t have any complacations…

  Jamie don’t even listen to broke ass people who have no say so to what you do i am 18 i had a baby when i was 16 and i am glad i had him he has brought so much joy to my life and i wouldnt trade him for the world. I am completely against abortions and for you not to get one is GREAT. And to all you other jokers who have nothing to do but gossip why does it matter her age who she is or what she wants to do its her decision and she should be able to run her life the way she wants. Just because she is famous and the sister to brittany doesnt mean n/e thing yeah her sister messed up 2 but that dont mean n/e thing she can run her own life 2 leave the girls alone it their life they’ll do what they want. Like most say it doesnt matter the age of a mom, what matters is the TLC the mom can give. And Jamie can give a lot of TLC to her baby i mean look at her shes so loving and caring about others. My screen name is Cherokiprincess because my husband’s pet name for me is “Cherokee princess” because I am a Cherokee Indian and he loves me. I spell it “cherokiprincess” because the name cherokeeprincess was already taken when I was looking for a name for my email account so i just use the same name for everything.   And Sarah…I did look back and there is a post from “Sarah” that says you graduated from HARVARD at 15 and then you went to medical school and are a radiologist now. Was that the one you said someone hacked your name and wasn’t really you? If not, I too am confused. I am seriously not trying to start something with you because I know we called a truce, but I was curious how you went to Harvard and Princeton and why you spent all those years going to medical school just to be a radiologist. Also you talked about having lost a patient in the ER and I don’t often hear of Radiologists “losing patients”. You can go to Tech school to be a radiologist. Just curious.
