Jonny Fairplay and Wife Welcome Daughter
Jonny Fairplay, one of Survivor’s most infamous contestants, and his fiancee, Michelle Deighton (formerly of America’s Next Top Model), have become the parents of a baby girl whom they have named Piper Addison. She was born yesterday.
Fairplay told People magazine: “It definitely changes the way you go into the game. The last time I went in I was playing for me. Now I’m playing for my little girl.”
Now that he’s a daddy, will he cease being the “bad guy” (he’ll be coming back to reality television for Survivor: Micronesia on February 7, 2008)?
“Motivation wise I’ve got to do the best thing for my little girl, but at the same time I’m still the same scumbag as I was before,” he said.
Oh well. You win some you lose some, I guess :) Congrats to Jonny and Michelle!

ha ha ha!!! Well, you are right, a lot of people misspell his name but, sorry, it is “Jonny Playfair.”

Right? It’s right there in the link you just put in your comment! …And on the CBS website that link takes you to… If we want to get all technical, it’s neither “Playfair” or “Fairplay” - it’s Jon Dalton. But he definitely goes by JoHnny F-A-I-R-P-L-A-Y

Okay, this is actually funny!!!!!
I thought you were talking about the Jonny/Johnny part which, thankfully, I got right.
My Freudian slip was about the Playfair/Fairplay which I totally mixed up. It’s bad because I know that but must have been thinking about his need to “play fair.”
There’s no “H” but it’s Fairplay.
