Regis Philbin Becomes a Grandpa!

Regis Philbin’s daughter, J.J., has given birth to a baby boy, he revealed to co-host, Kelly Ripa, on Live with Regis and Kelly yesterday. J.J. is a Hollywood writer and is married to Michael Schur of The Office. They, who they have named William Xavier Schur, was born at 6:05 a.m. on Monday weighing 6 lbs. 5 oz. and measuring 19 inches long.
“To please me, they took my confirmation name – Xavier,” Philbin, 76, said to the Regis and Kelly audience. Kelly said that the baby’s nickname could be “Willy X” to which Regis countered, “Willy X. … Sounds like a gangster!”
