Ryan Phillippe Talks About Being a Dad
Ryan Phillippe has opened up about life after his divorce in the latest issue of In Touch magazine.
The Hollywood heartthrob says his children, eight-year-old Ava Elizabeth and four-year-old Deacon Reese, are the most positive forces in his life.
“I love them so much and do everything I can to make their lives as wonderful as possible,” he said. “My career always takes a backseat to my kids. Everything else becomes far less important.”
But he said he refuses to fall into the Hollywood trap of spoiling his kids.
“I’m a good dad, but I certainly don’t spoil my kids,” he said. “I grew up poor and I want them to have a sensibility that isn’t privileged.”
Awww. It’s lovely to hear about a Hollywood star who has his priorities in order!
