Pete Wentz Slams Pregnancy Rumors

It just goes to show that you can’t believe everything you read. Just days after Ashlee Simpson announced her engagement to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz the gossip mags were claiming she’s preggers. OK! Magazine even gave a due date.
But Pete has set the record straight in an e-mail to MTV News.
“There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood … I mean we’re engaged, that’s true, and we’re happy about it.”
MTV asked whether he was denying the pregnancy rumors, and he replied “Yeah.”
So there you have it. Sometimes celebrities plan to get hitched just because they love one another. Who would have thought?
