Baby Girl for Martin Biron
Philadelphia Flyers goalkeeper Martin Biron and his wife Anne Marie are celebrating the birth of their new baby girl. Emily Marie Biron was born at 7:54 am on Monday April 14 via C-section.
She tipped the scale at 6 lb. 10 oz and measures 20 inches.
“We spent a little time with her and figured that was really fitted for her and that was what we wanted to name her,” Martin told the Philadelphia Daily News.
It may have been his third time becoming a father, but Martin’s still in awe of the experience.
“To have the miracle happen, it was just unbelievable. The whole day, you go through so much emotion but you can’t be thankful enough. It’s just a great moment.”
Martin and Anne Marie are also parents to Jacob Mathieu and Grace Anne. Congratulations to the Biron family!
