Travis Barker’s a Doting Dad

He might only have part-time parenting duties, but rocker Travis Barker is definitely a full-time dad. He spoke to People about the time he spends with two-year-old Alabama Luella, four-year-old Landon Asher, and nine-year-old Atiana Cecilia.
“I have my kids every Friday through Monday, and I don’t leave them the whole time I have them,” he explained. “I stay with them the entire, entire time. I don’t go out to lunch with a friend and leave them with anybody else. I’m obsessed with my children.”
He may be a committed dad, but Travis admits his relationship with ex-wife Shanna Moakler needs words.
“I don’t have the best relationship with her, but it’s a work in progress. I think it will get better if we learn to be friends,” he said. “We absolutely, absolutely, absolutely love each other. I think it’s more that we have different ideas on how to raise children, and that can … break down the walls of love as far as I’m concerned.”
Despite all this, Travis says he encourages his kids to do something special for their mother on Mother’s Day.
“I’m going to take my kids to the cemetery to visit my mother, and we all do something for Shanna. We always make something for her.”
That’s so lovely. It’s so nice to see dads who can put their kids and their best interests first.
