A Baby Boy for Zac Hanson

The baby of the Hanson band is all grown up, and he’s now a daddy! Zac Hanson and his wife Kate are celebrating the birth of their first child.
John Ira Shepherd Hanson was born on Tuesday May 27 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, weighing 8 lb. 4 oz. He will apparently go by the name of Shepherd.
“I am so overjoyed. There is not an audience or concert that could ever stand up to the feeling of meeting your baby for the first time,” Zac told People magazine.
“Shepherd is the most wonderful gift we could ever receive. We’re already enjoying every second of this great adventure,” added Kate.
We all know how important family is to the Hanson clan, so it’s wonderful that the boys are now experiencing the joys of fatherhood together. Middle brother Taylor has five-year-old Ezra, three-year-old Penelope, and 20-month old bub River. Isaac is dad to one-year-old Everett, and his wife Nikki is expecting their second child next month.
Christmas is going to be so much fun in the Hanson household this year!
