Introducing Stella Doreen McDermott!
Stella Doreen McDermott makes her public debut in this week’s edition of OK! magazine. The two-week-old daughter
of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott looks so serene in this beautiful cover photo.
Tori said she had two thoughts when she first saw her daughter: “She is so beautiful” and “She has black hair! Where did that come from?”
Olive-skinned, raven-haired Stella looks very different from her fair brother Liam, but she’s every bit as adorable!
But they should have expected a surprise from Stella. After all, her conception was a surprise in and of itself!
“She’s a miracle. I was on one pill and wasn’t feeling well, so I went off of it. Two days later, the doctor put me on another, and on that one day, we conceived. It was meant to be!” Tori gushed.
Dean was also moved by his daughter’s arrival, commenting that he “bawled his face off … out of pure joy.
“There is nothing like it - you feel it that moment. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Little boys are awesome. They’re just like a little you. But having a little girl is something else. As a man, you just lose it.”
Tori had a scheduled C-section, but she said this was not her first choice.
“Regular birth seems easier to me than having your whole stomach cut open. I always read people are like, ‘Oh, C-sections are so Hollywood! All actresses do them.’ Do you know what a C-section entails? They basically cut you open, remove your insides to get the baby out and literally put your uterus on your stomach and then put it back in. It’s pretty crazy.”
Tori always said she’d be happy having a baby of each gender, but she hasn’t ruled out having another child.
“But I wouldn’t mind having three,” she told the mag.
“Three seems to be the magic number,” Dean added. “But you never know with us, because we’re that wacky and in love and can’t keep our hands off each other. We may have a full hockey team!”
Wow - it sounds like there could be more adorable McDermotts on the way!
