Avril “So Not Ready” For Motherhood
It seems like the gossip mags lie in wait for celebs to have a big meal or wear an unflattering outfit so they can start those pregnancy rumors. But Avril Lavigne says the star snappers can steer clear of her, because she’s “so not ready” to become a mom.
“Oh God! I don’t want to have kids for like 10 years,” she told OK! “I still have a lot to do. I don’t even know if I could handle a dog right now. I’m so not ready. Someday I’ll be a mom, but not until I’m in my 30s.”
Avril has been married to husband Deryck Whibley for two years, but it’s great to see they’re just enjoying some couple time. After all, if Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry can have happy healthy babies after 40 she can definitely afford to wait!
