Jennie Garth Opens Up About Daughter’s Disorder

Jennie Garth has opened up about her daughter Lola Ray’s battle with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. The actress said the scariest part was waiting for the diagnosis.
“We didn’t know what was wrong with her,” Jennie told People. “I was basically locked in a closet with her for three months.”
Thankfully unlike adult arthritis, many children outgrow the condition which causes inflamed swollen joints and makes moving painful. Five-year-old Lola was one of the lucky ones.
“We treated her and it’s in remission,” the 90210 star said. “It was tough, but she’s better now.”
What a scary time it must have been for the family. I’m so glad they’ve come out the other side!
