Gavin Rossdale Takes Kingston on the Road

Kingston Rossdale won’t miss his daddy Gavin Rossdale when he tours his new album Wanderlust in April. The adorable two-year-old gets to come along!

“I take Kingston for as long as he wants, so I try to drum that into him: ‘Are you ready to go on tour? Are you ready to go on tour?’ It’s going to be fun!” Gavin told People at the Global Green pre-Oscar party on Thursday night.

Gavin has a couple of secrets for making life on the road kid-friendly.

“Just get him bunks so he won’t fall out – that’s the main thing.”

And of course, plenty of time for play!

“You gotta see where all the zoos are in the towns you’re playing,” he adds.

Gavin anticipates it will “be crazy,” to coordinate his schedule with wife Gwen Stefani, who also tours this summer with her band No Doubt. But it’s just part of being one of music’s glamour couples!

“There’s no way avoiding it!”
