Mayim Bialik’s Television Secret

Everyone knows Mayim Bialik for her role on the hit 1990s series Blossom. Well almost everyone! Her holistic approach to parenting means she’s kept her kids in the dark about her television career!

The actress says her three-year-old son Miles “does not watch television and he does not know that I was on TV. He knows that I have meetings that are sometimes early in the morning. He knows that there are scripts, but I don’t think he’s put it together.”

While the family, including Miles 11-month-old brother Fred, doesn’t watch television, Mayim says her eldest son has seen “a couple of cartoons or sports when we’ve been at friends’ houses.” However he still can’t understand the concept of acting yet.

“I don’t know if he understands the whole people pretending to be someone else with a script, so it’s kind of funny.”

Mayim may need to answer a few more questions as she reignites her acting career. Next up is a role on family drama, The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
