Tennis star Lindsay Davenport has extended her brood with the birth of a baby girl on Saturday June 27. Lauren Andrus Davenport Leach was born at 11:04 am in Newport Beach, California. The second child for Lindsay and her husband, Jonathan Leach, is a little sister for two-year-old Jagger Jonathan.

“Lindsay and Lauren are doing great, and Jonny and the other man of the family, Jagger, Lauren’s brother, are ecstatic,” Lindsay’s agent said.

Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz has given birth to a healthy baby girl.

Paloma Louise Lebenzon was both on Saturday June 27 in New York City. She tipped the scales at a delightful 7 lb. 10 oz. She is the first child for Ana and her husband Noah Lebenzon.

“She is elated and completely glowing,” said Ana’s rep. “She is surrounded by her friends and family and so happy to be a mom. She is just really enjoying the moment. The baby is absolutely beautiful.”

Rachel Griffiths has given birth to a baby girl! The new arrival is the third child for the Brothers and Sisters actress and her husband Andrew Taylor. The little one joins her own brother and sister, five-year-old Banjo and four-year-old Adelaide.

The news has been confirmed by Rachel’s rep, but we’re still waiting on a birthdate, name, and all those other little details. As an Aussie, I’m hoping for another name with a down Under flavour. Matilda perhaps? Or what about Sydney?

Carnie Wilson and her husband Rob Bonfiglio are the proud parents of a new baby girl! Luciana Bella Bonfiglio was born on Friday, June 12, in Los Angeles, California. She tipped the scales at a petite 6 lb. 5 oz. and measured 19 inches.

Baby Luciana joins her big sister, four-year-old Lola.

Kelly Rutherford is celebrating the birth of her second child!

The Gossip Girl star welcomed a daughter, Helena Grace Rutherford Giersch, on Monday in Los Angeles. Helena, who weighed 8 lb. 12 oz. at birth, is “doing just fine” said a representative.

Kelly’s rep added that her estranged husband, and Helena’s father, Daniel Giersch was notified of the birth. However he claims that a verbal agreement with Kelly to text or call him at the time of labor and delivery was not honored. He adds that he was left to hear news of the birth through online reports.

Oh boy. Isn’t it sad that even at a happy time like this, things are still messy between the pair? Let’s hope they can focus on Helena and her two-year-old brother Hermes rather than their own squabbles soon enough!

Baby-on-the-way for Annika Sorenstam and husband Mike McGee is a girl! The golfing great announced the happy news via her blog.

“Mike and I are happy to announce that we are going to have a little girl. To use golf terms, we just ‘made the turn’ from a timing standpoint and are very excited that everything looks good so far.”

In another post, Mike shared the joy the couple feel about joining team pink.

“We are really excited about her and the fun that lies ahead,” he wrote. “I think it’s almost fitting with everything Annika has done for women’s sports and the inspiration she has given millions of little girls!”

Annika says she’s keeping her pregnancy weight in check with light exercise, a far cry from the work she put in on the golfing circuit!

“I think I am going to the pool to swim some laps,” she wrote. “I have changed my workout routine since life on tour, especially being pregnant as I feel a little limited with regards to what I can and can’t do. However, swimming has no impact and I don’t feel the extra weight around my belly.”

It sounds like a sensible choice! Annika and Mike expect their first child in fall.

Actor Chad Lowe and his girlfriend Kim Painter are celebrating the birth of their first child!

Mabel Painter Lowe was born last Saturday, May 16, in Los Angeles. No further details about the birth were released, but the couple’s rep has commented that “everybody is healthy and happy.”

It’s another girl for Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his wife Jordyn! The couple welcomed daughter Harper Willow Grohl on Friday April 17.

The baby was 7 lb. 8 oz., 20 inches long, and as “loud as hell” according to a statement. Perhaps she’s inherited her daddy’s rock and roll genes!

Harper joins her three-year-old sister Violet Maye.

It’s a girl for Pop Idol runner-up Gareth Gates!

The British pop star and his wife Suzanne welcomed daughter Missy on April 6. The baby girl weighed 7 lb. 4 oz. at birth.

“We are so excited,” Gareth wrote on his MySpace page.

“Missy is beautiful and we can’t wait to spend time together as a family.”

Missy is the first child for Gareth and Suzanne, who were married last July.

It appears that celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is something of a specialist! Despite desperately hoping for a baby boy, he added another daughter to his family on Friday! Petal Blossom Rainbow Oliver, the third daughter for Jamie and his wife Jools, was born on April 3 in London.

The name’s interesting to say the least, but what do you expect from the parents who gave us Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo?

She weighed in at 6 lbs., 10 oz. and “looks like her mum.”

“Jamie and Jools are both completely smitten with Petal already and Jamie is looking forward to two weeks paternity leave to spend quality time with his four beautiful girls,” a rep for the couple said.

Jools was due on April 1st, but had her labor induced on Thursday because of high blood pressure. It’s wonderful to hear mom and bub are both well now!
