Mayim Bialik has confirmed that she recently gave birth to a son! The actress told Celebrity Baby Blog she gave birth to Frederick Heschel on Friday August 15. He tipped the scales at 7 lb. 15 oz. and measures 20.25 inches.

“His first name is for my grandpa, and his middle name is for Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, who marched with Martin Luther King Jr. in Selma,” she explained.

Mayim had a “remarkably fast” home birth, lasting just one and a half hours. She used hypnosis for the pain, and it seemed to have worked.

Three-year-old Miles took in the whole experience while eating granola in his high chair. He’s also taken to his new big brother status like a duck to water.

“Miles does not attend preschool, so he is home with us all the time, is adjusting really well and doing pretty great.”

It looks like Mayim Bialik has had her baby! It all went unreported until the former Blossom star was spotted nursing the newborn at the farmer’s markets in Los Angeles on Sunday!

TMZ reports that the baby is a little boy named Fred, but there’s still no confirmation from Mayim’s rep.

This little bundle is the second child for Mayim and her husband Michael Stone. They are also parents to three-year-old son Milo.

Billie Piper has given birth to a baby boy! Winston James Fox was delivered via an emergency C-section at London’s Portland Hospital on Tuesday. He weighed 6 lb. 11 oz. on delivery.

Billie’s husband Laurence Fox gushed that his newborn son is “beautiful” and “sweet.” As for Billie, he’s clearly impressed she made it through a marathon 26-hour labor!

“The emergency caesarean only took about 20 minutes. Billie is happy. Of course she is, she’s a mum. I am tired but not as tired as her - I am a proud father. She has been cut apart, so [she'll] probably [be hospitalized] overnight. I will be with her for the length of it.”

What a good husband! Winston is the first child for Billie and Laurence.

Finally there is some good news about Natascha McElhone. The Californication star, whose husband Dr. Martin Hirigoyen Kelly passed away suddenly in May, has given birth to her third child. No details about the baby have been released, but both mother and child are now living at their West London home.

“I’ve never been one to believe in spirits, but I feel we’re all suffused with him in different ways and that will live on, in me, in the kids, in this new little one that’s just coming along. The amazing thing is how you can keep going if you have to,” Natascha recently told the Times Online.

What a beautiful thing to say. Natascha and Martin are also parents to eight-year-old Theo and five-year-old Otis.

They say the show must go on, and it did on Monday night, causing an Australian Idol hopeful to miss the birth of his first son!

Luke Dickens’ partner Brooke Rodgers wasn’t due to have her baby until December, so no one expected her to go into labor during Monday night’s live verdict show. The likable shearer jumped on the first plane to be by his girlfriend’s side, but unfortunately the as-yet-unnamed baby touched down before he did!

“I’m spewing I didn’t make it, but I’m stoked that Brooke and the little bub are doing well,” Luke told The Daily Telegraph.

“It will be hard leaving the little tacker and my girl, but I’ve gotta keep going on this Idol rollercoaster and make the most of it while I can.”

Perhaps baby Dickens just didn’t want to miss his dad’s success! Luke is one of seven contestants left in the reality TV competition.

Milwaulkee Brewers’ Mike Cameron wasn’t expecting his fourth child until the first week of November, but she just couldn’t wait! Mike received a surprise phone call on Friday with the news that his baby girl was on her way!

As soon as he heard his wife JaBreka was in labor, Mike hopped on the first flight back to Atlanta. Unfortunately he just missed the birth of little Lilo Christina, but he soon made up for lost time.

“I have no idea why it happened so early, but it did and it’s a blessing. I’m in awe about it a little bit,” the footballer admitted.

Lilo was born via cesarean section. She weighed 4 lb. 13 oz. and measured 17 inches long.  She joins siblings T’aja, Dazmon, and Mekhi who reportedly helped their parents choose their little sister’s name. I think they did a good job too!

Three-month-old Kadence Clover Hawk made her public debut on Friday. She attended the Ante Up for Autism event with skater dad Tony Hawk and mom Lhotse.

Isn’t she adorable? What a gorgeous family they are!

Former boxer Laila Ali and husband Curtis Conway are celebrating the birth of their first child together. Curtis Muhammad Conway arrived on Tuesday August 26. He weighed 6.8 lb at birth and measured 19 inches.

Laila originally planned a natural homebirth but undisclosed circumstances forced her to change her mind.

“Although mom and baby are both healthy and happy, there were some surprises during labor that altered Laila’s birth plan,” her rep said in a statement.

So long as everything’s good now, that’s all that matters! Curtis joins Curtis Senior’s children Cameron, Kelton, and Leilani from a previous relationship.

Gorgeous Aussie actress Jacinda Barrett spent some quality time in Los Angeles with her adorable daughter Satine Anais Geraldine yesterday. She might be bald as a badger, but what a cutie pie!
