Bec Hewitt Wants to Write Children’s Books
June 25, 2009 by lkatulka
Australian actress Bec Hewitt is hoping to follow in the footsteps of other famous moms like Madonna and The Duchess of York, turning her hands to writing children’s books. The wife of tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt reportedly hopes to have a book on the market by Christmas 2010.
“She has a few ideas and having two kids, as she does, she feels she has knowledge of the market,” a publishing source said.
Mom to three-year-old Mia and six-month-old Cruz, Bec hasn’t worked since giving birth to her first child. She’s apparently said she hoped to find work to suit her mobile lifestyle, supporting her husband’s tennis career around the world. It sounds like a good fit to me!

Lleyton and Bec Hewitt Deliver Another Cruz
December 16, 2008 by lkatulka
Australian tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt and his wife Bec are celebrating the birth of their second child. Bec delivered a baby boy at Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital on Thursday 11 December.
The couple seems to have been inspired by The Beckhams, calling their newest child Cruz. He joins the couple’s three-year-old daughter Mia.
“All are doing well and are very excited about the new addition to the family!” the couple said in a statement on their website.
Cruz’s great grandfather Max Hewitt told The Herald Sun he was “overjoyed” at the birth.
“It’s great, especially a boy, everyone wanted a boy,” Max said. “A girl would have been good, but a boy’s great.”
But he seems less positive about his great grandson’s unusual name, commenting that it was a “shock.”
Cruz will make his public debut in an upcoming issue of OK! magazine. I can’t wait to see the photos!

Aussie tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt and his wife, former soap star Bec Hewitt, are expecting their second child.
Bec told OK! magazine she is in her second trimester, and expects the baby in January.
“We’re both very excited,” Bec told the magazine.
“Yeah, it’s fantastic,” her husband added.
The couple’s two-year-old daughter Mia is looking forward to becoming a big sister.
“She [Mia] understands something’s happening and she’s really excited about it,” Bec Hewitt said. “She’ll be just over three when the baby arrives and we think she’ll be a good little helper.”
Congratulations to the Hewitts!
