Clive Owen’s Girls Enjoy Hollywood Perks

February 17, 2009 by lkatulka

Now that Clive Owen’s daughters are getting older, 12-year-old Hannah and nine-year-old Eve are beginning to appreciate the perks of celebrity. But that doesn’t mean the girls always get what they want!

Apparently they’re big fans of Friends, and by extension Clive’s former co-star Jennifer Aniston.

“[Hannah]’s like, ‘Call her up, call her up,’” Clive laughed. ”I’m not calling her up. What are you going to say to her? They hit me up for weird things like that.”

They also love the red carpet, but are disappointed that they never get to see their dad’s films!

“They come to every film. They meet everybody. But they’re not allowed to see the film. Most films I do are not appropriate. When they turn 18, they can watch Closer.”

As you can imagine, the girls have given Clive “serious grief about doing a children’s movie,” just so they can stay for the main event!

Clive’s been pretty busy lately filming his latest blockbusters The International and Duplicity, so he’s looking forward to some well-earned time with his beloved daughters and wife Sarah-Jane Fenton.

“We used to take the family on holidays and adventures, but more and more, I want to go home and stay at home,” Clive explains. “I love getting up in the morning and taking them to school and picking them up and hanging with them.”

“In the last year or two, if I go away for a certain amount of time to make a film, I make sure I have down time at home to keep the balance right.”

The International is in theaters now, while Duplicity will screen from March 20th.

Win a Wallcandy Arts Bedroom Makeover!

June 2, 2008 by lkatulka

If your kids’ rooms could do with a little sprucing up I’ve got the competition for you. I’ve got some fantastic sets ofPilot’s Planes Wallcandy Arts decals to give away to four lucky readers.

Wallcandy Arts kits are the easy way to give any room an instant makeover. And the stars love them! Heidi Klum and Seal used the Pilot’s Planes set in their son Henry’s room. David Boreanz, William Shatner, and Patricia Arquette are also big fans.

And why not? These stickers are so easy to use, and they won’t damage the walls. If you feel like a change, just peel them off and rearrange them. Maintenance is also easy. Just wipe them down with a damp cloth now and then and they’ll look as good as new.

I’ve got two sets of Pilot’s Planes decals, the very same ones used by Heidi Klum and Seal. Any little boy would love these colorful planes and clouds. I’ve also got two Carnivale sets. These fun flags and letters are perfect for little girls.

To get your hands on them, just leave a comment telling me why your kid’s room needs a makeover! Also make sure to tell me whether you’d like the boys or girls set - I don’t want to send any pink flags to little boys!

Simply answer before 5 pm PST on June 9 to enter the draw. I’ll announce the lucky winner on Tuesday June 10. The winner will be contacted via e-mail for their mailing address, so please make sure you comment with a valid e-mail address. Good luck everybody!
