Ricky Martin is the proud father of twins! The Latin popstar has welcomed twin boys via a gestational surrogate.
His rep said the bubs were born “a few weeks ago.”
“The children are healthy and already under Ricky’s full-time care. Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children,” a statement said.
No further details about the boys or their mother were released. Congratulations to Ricky!

Aussie expat Peter Andre has been named father of the year in the UK. The reality TV star is dad to 11-month-old Princess Tiaamii and two-year-old Junior, and stepfather to wife Katie “Jordan” Price’s six-year-old son Harvey.
And according to Peter, the family won’t stop there. He said he is “not even halfway there” when it comes to having the number of children he’d like.
“For the last couple of years I’ve been saying that if there’s any kind of award I could win it would be dad of the year,” Peter said. “I’m over the moon.”
More than 2000 British mothers voted in the awards.

A car seat kind of ruins the cool factor of a two-seater Porsche, but my favorite TV doctor Patrick Dempsey doesn’t really care.
“My daughter, Talula, loves me to drive her to school in this,” he told Parade. “She gets to sit next to me. We talk about all kinds of things. We listen to the news and discuss it. I remember when I would do stuff with my father and my mother. You want those moments. They go by very quickly, so you try to get them in when you can.”
But his six-year-old daughter isn’t the only little person to capture his heart. He’s just as besotted by his 15-month-old twin boys Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick.
“It’s like a slapstick routine watching these drunk little men run around because they’re wobbly. When you see something happen that they couldn’t do the day before, it’s really heartwarming.”
Living in a house with three young kids, you might expect Patrick to lap up his stays in luxury hotels. But nothing could be further from the truth.
“I was in the gilded cages of all these great hotels, and I just couldn’t figure out why I was so depressed. It was too quiet. I’m used to the noise and the laughter and even the crying.”
Could he be any more McDreamy?
