Clive Owen Happy in Girly Household
March 19, 2009 by lkatulka

As a father to two girls, many might assume Clive Owen would love a son, but nothing could be further from the truth! But dad to 12-year-old Hannah and 9-year-old Eve says he’s happy in his household of women!
After being raised in a family that included five boys, Clive admits that his past experiences are “very different from being in a family of women, which I am now!”
But he’s got no complaints.
“I’ve never been one of those fathers who wanted to try again for the boy because he’s got girls,” he shared. “I’m very happy being around girls. I’m just crazy about my girls and I don’t need anything else!”
His Duplicity costar, Julia Roberts, says his love for his family and their life together shines through in every performance.
“The thing about Clive is that the happiness and security he has in real life is what allows him to go into a room and grab everyone’s attention effortlessly,” she reveals. “The secret is, everyone is really attracted to contentment.”
And with a great marriage to Sarah-Jane Fenton and two beautiful girls, what’s he got to worry about?

Tim McGraw’s Daughter Dress-Ups

Tim McGraw is father to three girls: 11-year-old Gracie, 10-year-old Maggie, and seven-year-old Audrey. And he admits they have his “wrapped around their little fingers.”
It sure sounds like it! In a recent interview with Family Circle, the country singer admitted they play dress up and I let them put make up on me.”
His wife Faith Hill says he’s a pushover, but Tim insists he’s not that bad. However he is starting to dread those teenage years.
“I’ve jokingly told my friends who have sons the same age as Gracie that I’m going to hit the nicest boy of the bunch right off the bat. So when he goes to school with a black eye, all of the other boys will see that I’ve punched the nicest one and they’ll be scared to death of me.”
It sounds like any potential suitors better watch out!

Lori Loughlin Shares Baking Tips, But Not New TV Show
December 27, 2008 by lkatulka
As a child, Lori Loughlin shared a love of baking with her parents. Now she’s a mom herself, Lori is passing on her love of cooking to her daughters Isabella, 10, and Olivia, 9.
“On Thanksgiving, [Isabella] baked a batch of cookies all by herself,” Lori told OK! “It really was a great couple of hours that we got to spend together.”
The holidays also mean a trip to New York for the family.
“It’s a lot about family. Every year, I take my girls back to New York for part of the holiday. We go into the city, see the tree, do the window-shopping, go see a show.”
Lori is enjoying a career renaissance with her role in 90210, but she won’t let her children see her racy new series.
“They can watch Full House, but not 90210. In fact, my younger daughter said that somebody in her grade told her, ‘I saw your mom on 90210,’ and my daughter said, ‘I don’t think that you should be watching that show. It’s not appropriate for your age.’”
Like mother, like daughter!

Brooke Burke Enjoys Holidays with Her Kids
December 8, 2008 by lkatulka
Brooke Burke’s been busy with press commitments after her Dancing with the Stars win, but the mom of four insisted on “some much needed” downtime for Thanksgiving.
“Thanksgiving was great. It was a long time since I had a day off. It was three months, seven days a week. [I] got a car, took my kids, [and] went to go visit relatives and family. It was the perfect way to spend the holidays.”
Brooke loved her experience on the show, but her family while supportive was also glad “that it finally came to an end.”
I guess Neriah, Sierra, Heaven, and baby Shaya were just happy to have their mom back. The girls have also apparently “fallen in love with dancing.” Perhaps we might see them on the show in a few years time!
Tim McGraw Struggles with Estrogen-Filled House
December 2, 2008 by lkatulka
Spare a thought of country singer Tim McGraw. He’s surrounded by women, including his wife Faith Hill and three
daughters Gracie, 11, Maggie, 10, and Audrey, 6!
“It’s not easy” he admits, adding that he is “a guy’s guy - and then I’ve got a house full of estrogen.”
The most confusing member of the household is 11-year-old Gracie, who’s just started junior high.
“There’s some things going on in that head. I don’t know what’s going on with her. But it’s tough, you know. It’s a learning process.”
After some failed attempts to discipline his eldest daughter, but Tim said he’s learned “you certainly can’t be close-minded, like it’s gonna be my way. And I’ve tried that: ‘It’s gonna be my way, we’re gonna do it this way, you’re gonna get up and you’re gonna do that.’
“I don’t know if it’s different for boys, but with girls, it just doesn’t work that way. You’ve got to figure out how to deal with ‘em on their terms.”
I’d say all girls out there can agree with that!

Coolio Scares Away Suitors
October 30, 2008 by lkatulka
Coolio’s daughters may be grown, but he still lays the law for their dates!
Coolio warns any potential suitors he is willing to “do the rest of my life in prison if you mess with my kids.”
“I tell them don’t come around here trying to get nothing you ain’t getting at home. First of all, you ain’t going to get it,” the rapper told OK! magazine.
He also jokes that he makes sure to give 20-year-old Artisha, 19-year-old Brandi, and 15-year-old Jackie plenty of space when they have male company. He says he will “get my pit bull and we walk around the block,” but he does like to keep them on their toes!
“I don’t sit there and watch over them, but the other day, I walked in the living room, and Artisha was sitting on some dude’s lap, I was like, ‘Oh, hell no.’ She just sat there, so I picked up one of the legs from the pool table and said, ‘You better get up right now.’ She was like, ‘I’m 20-years-old!’ I was like you better get yourself a 20-year-old house then!”
Something tells me those girls won’t find love until they move out of home!

Jamie Oliver Offers Eating Advice
September 26, 2008 by lkatulka

With Jamie Oliver for a dad, you’d expect Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo to have healthy appetites.
Jamie said the secret is that his daughters “got used to trying loads of new things when they were younger, so they got a taste for different flavors and textures.”
He concedes that “it’s harder as kids get older,” but adds that parents shouldn’t give up on fussy eaters.
“If you persevere and don’t get upset if they won’t try new things the first time, eventually most kids will get into new tastes.”
What great advice!
