Exodus Tyson has passed away following injuries sustained in a home treadmill accident. The four-year-old lost her fight for life at 11:45 am on Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

“We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers from all over the world,” her boxer father Mike Tyson said in a statement.

“There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.”

Ella-Jayne Murray, the eight-month-old daughter of British stars Sarah Parish and James Murray, has passed away following complications from a congenital heart defect.

The couple was made aware of the condition while Sarah was still pregnant. The couple’s only child was born five weeks prematurely via emergency C-section. Following the birth she was immediately rushed to surgery to repair the hole in her heart.

Ella-Jayne died at her parents English home last week. Sarah’s rep says the couple is “devastated” by the loss, adding that “it’s been very hard for them both.”

An undertaker has revealed that Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, was killed by a seizure. Despite initial reports that Jett hit his head on a bathtub, the undertaker says his body shows no sign of head trauma.

Jett’s remains will be cremated, said Keith Sweeney, the director of the funeral home handling his body. His parents plan to take his body home to the United States today.

Jett Travolta was found unconscious in the bathroom of his family’s Bahamas holiday home on Friday. His famous parents said they were “heartbroken that our time with him was so brief.”

Andre Romelle Young Jr., the son of rapper of Dr. Dre, passed away on Saturday morning at his Californian home. Andre partied with friends on Friday night and returned home in the early hours of Saturday morning. His mother found him unresponsive later that morning and called the paramedics. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

While an autopsy has been conducted, the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office is waiting on toxicology reports before determining the cause of death.

“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son André Young Jr. Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time,” the singer said in a statement.

My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

Steven Curtis Chapman has spoken out about his grief for the first time since the death of his daughter Maria Sue. The five-year-old was killed in May when an older sibling accidentally struck her with the family SUV.

“My son said the other day, ‘We are a family … of great faith. But we’re a family with a lot of questions.’ But that’s what faith is. It’s living with the questions. It doesn’t mean you have the answers,” the Christian singer said on Good Morning America.

Steve admitted one of his greatest challenges is mourning the loss of his daughter while consoling his remaining five children.

“While we are grieving … there is a hope that we’re anchored to, in the midst of just what sometimes seems unbearable.”

Xavier Kingston Joiner, the baby of rap star Xzibit, passed away yesterday at 3:30 am. Xavier was born prematurely. Despite receiving oxygen, his underdeveloped lungs could not handle the strain of breathing any longer.

Xzibit left the following message on his MySpace page following the death of his son.

“As you all know, I shared with you the announcement of my newborn son, Xavier Kingston Joiner, on May 15th and also informed you that he was born prematurely. Well, this week was extremely difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own.

“Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30 a.m. and I must tell you this; it is unnatural for a parent to bury a child. I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when I’m having a great time - life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them, and show them you love them every day you wake up and see them, don’t take a second you get to hug them, teach them, and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the world, but it is NOTHING compared to having your family.

“I am thankful for all of my blessings and I’m not one to question God’s perfect plan, so I leave you with great love and thanks for all the love that was sent earlier on my previous blog to my son. Of course, I need to take some time and handle my loss. STAY FOCUSED PEOPLE. It’s not promised to any of us.

“R.I.P Xavier May 15th 2008 - May 26th 2008.”

I just keep finding bad news stories today. Martin Kelly, the husband of actress Natascha McElhone was found dead on the doorstep of the couple’s London home on Tuesday May 20.

It’s believed that the 42-year-old plastic surgeon passed away from a heart attack.

Heartbreakingly, Natascha is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child. She was told the news in Los Angeles, where she was filming Californication. She will return to London with their two sons, eight-year-old Theo and five-year-old Otis.

I can’t imagine what it would be like to go through a pregnancy in these difficult circumstances. I wish her and the boys all the best.

Here’s one of those stories that’s just floored me. The daughter of Christian music star Steven Curtis Chapman has been accidentally killed by an SUV driven by her brother.

Five-year-old Maria was hit in the Chapman family’s driveway south of Nashville, and died later in hospital.
Tennessee Highway Patrol spokeswoman Laura McPherson said several family members witnessed the accident. The boy did not see his little sister. No charges are expected to be laid.

“It looks like a tragic accident,” Ms McPherson said.

Maria was one of three children Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife Mary Beth adopted from China. The couple also created Shaohannah’s Hope to help ease the financial burden of couples seeking to adopt children. They also conducted missionary work at Chinese orphanages in 2006 and 2007.

This is just such a terribly sad story. My thoughts are with the entire Chapman family at this difficult time.
