There’s another NASCAR baby on the way, and it’s coming “pretty soon.” Matt Kenseth and his wife Katie are expecting their first baby together, a delivery surprise, in July.

“We’ll find out when you guys do, I guess,” Matt laughed about their choice of a delivery surprise. “Actually, I hope I’ll know a little while before you guys do.”

“There aren’t many surprises left in life, so we’re going to wait to find out. We talked about it [and] we don’t really want to find out. Neither of us really cares if it’s a girl or a boy. If it’s healthy, that’s all we really care about.”

The Daytona 500 winner knows he “can’t really control when the baby comes that much, so I’m just going to kind of play it by ear.” But he’s hoping for a Monday delivery, rather than a race day one because “I haven’t made any plans [for a relief driver] yet.”

Maybe he’d better do that just in case!

Matt and Katie were married in December, 2000. The new arrival will join Matt’s 16-year-old son, Ross, from a previous relationship.

Baby-on-the-way for Annika Sorenstam and husband Mike McGee is a girl! The golfing great announced the happy news via her blog.

“Mike and I are happy to announce that we are going to have a little girl. To use golf terms, we just ‘made the turn’ from a timing standpoint and are very excited that everything looks good so far.”

In another post, Mike shared the joy the couple feel about joining team pink.

“We are really excited about her and the fun that lies ahead,” he wrote. “I think it’s almost fitting with everything Annika has done for women’s sports and the inspiration she has given millions of little girls!”

Annika says she’s keeping her pregnancy weight in check with light exercise, a far cry from the work she put in on the golfing circuit!

“I think I am going to the pool to swim some laps,” she wrote. “I have changed my workout routine since life on tour, especially being pregnant as I feel a little limited with regards to what I can and can’t do. However, swimming has no impact and I don’t feel the extra weight around my belly.”

It sounds like a sensible choice! Annika and Mike expect their first child in fall.

Maya Rudolph looked fabulous in a Yigal Azrouel dress at Monday night’s New York premiere of Away We Go, but the pregnant actress insists dressing up these days is “not fun.”

“I do my best. This is super dressed up,” she said. “Isn’t it beautiful?”

Maya is expecting a delivery surprise around November. The baby will be the second child for Maya and her partner Paul Thomas Anderson, who have a three-year-old daughter Pearl.

If you thought Jennifer Hudson was looking a little curvier lately, you’re right. I’m not quite sure how she managed to hide it from the media, but apparently Jennifer Hudson is seven months pregnant!

A baby shower was thrown in her honor in Chicago this weekend.

“It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family,” her longtime friend Felicia Fields, also a singer and actress, said of a gathering in a relative’s home. “They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet. It was a nice time that we had.”

Felicia said Jennifer and her fiance David Otunga will have a delivery surprise, so received plenty of yellow gifts.

Jennifer is working hard to keep her private life private. She’s also staying mum on her upcoming nuptials. It sounds like the couple is in for some exciting times!

May 24 could be a big day for Alex Lloyd. He’s racing in the Indy 500, and his wife Samantha is due to give birth to his second daughter!

Samantha said she laughed when the doctor announced her due date, adding that “I thought, it’s just typical!”

Alex is doing his best to focus on the big race, so he’s told his pit crew not to provide any updates if his wife does go into labor!

“I’m just going to drive faster and when I get the checkered flag, then they can tell me if something has happened,” he insists. “If they tell me, I’m just going to tell them to open the gates and let me go because I can get there in this car a lot faster than I can in another car.”

I’m not sure I’d be as understanding, but Samantha says she agrees with her husband’s decision. She plans to sit and listen to the race, “hoping [the baby] stays in there. I’m hoping to see the whole thing, and I don’t want them [the crew] to say a single word until he’s out of the race.”

However, Alex may be mistaken about one thing: the length of time it may take to deliver! Samantha spent 28 hours in labor with the couple’s first child, 19-month-old Ava, and he believes that this labor could be just as long.

“I’d probably have time to finish the race, chill out, have a cup of tea and still have 12 hours to go,” said the 24-year-old, who apparently doesn’t know second labors tend to be quicker affairs!

The couple have already selected the name Bethany, “but if she arrives on race day, we’ll probably have to switch and go with something with a little more racing flavor,” Samantha grinned.

I wonder what. Ferrari perhaps?

Kimora Lee Simmons has already given birth to two girls (Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6 ½,), and she knows something is different this time around. Does that mean that her third child will be a boy? Kimora and her partner Djimon Hounsou certainly think so!

“With the girls I was wider in the belly. Now I’m narrower, but if I turn sideways I can’t fit through the door!,” Kimora said.

With less than two months to go, she recently celebrated her baby shower with some famous friends including Holly Robinson Peete and Stevie Wonder. They dined on a mix of gourmet delicacies like shrimp caviar and poached salmon, and comfort foods like macaroni and cheese. There was also a fondue fountain with chocolate, fruit and marshmallows!

Kimora said she was very hands-on with the diverse menu.

“I was very involved with the food because I’m a greedy pregnant girl,” she said. “I’ve been eating a lot of spicy food. I put jalapeños in everything!”

Dad-to-be Djimon was also there. Kimora says he’s anxiously awaiting the birth of his first child.

“Djimon is a spiritual person, and it’s a big deal for him to have a baby,” Kimora said. “When he first saw the heartbeat at the ultrasound, he said he felt very humbled.”

Sisters in waiting Ming and Aoki “don’t quite get the birds and the bees,” but they’re looking forward to their new roles!

“The girls love being princesses. They love fashion and being girly. The girls say, ‘We’re going to dress the baby up!’ Djimon’s like, ‘No, you’re not going to be pinning tulle to the boy!’”

I guess we’ll have to wait and see who’s right: the kids or the parents!

Expect another baby with acting in its bones! Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans are expecting their first child!

The couple met while filming 102 Dalmations in 2002, and wed in 2007. No further details about the pregnancy were released, so I guess we’ll have to start guessing about gender and due date!

With Ioan’s Welsh heritage, Alice being English, and the couple basing themselves in Los Angeles, I can’t help wondering what sort of accent this baby will get!

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo is pregnant! The actress is expecting her first child with husband Chris Ivery.

Ellen’s rep confirmed the “great news,” adding that “They’re ecstatic.”

The couple, who were married in 2007, has not announced their due date. I guess we’ll find out soon enough!

It must be nice to be Joanne Smith-Baldwin. Your pregnancy can sneak underneath the radar until you appear with a sizeable bump!

Joanne debuted her baby belly at the premiere of husband Daniel Baldwin’s latest film, Grey Gardens.

“Joanne’s five months along. We’re due August 12th and it’s a girl!” Daniel told media on the night. “We won’t commit to a name yet. Well, she won’t. I will. But I’m not allowed to say yet!”

This will be Daniel’s fifth child, but he says the experience is just as exciting as the first time.

“As long as there’s ten fingers and ten toes and everything works right … Honestly, that, really, at the end of the day is the most important,” he explained. “And the adventure: watching them grow — what are they going to be like, why is one of them blonde and blue-eyed, why does one of them have dark hair, why is one really outgoing and one’s really quiet — just watching the whole thing happen.”

Daniel, 48, is also dad to Kahlea, 25, with Cheryl Baldwin, Alexandra, 18, with Elizabeth Baldwin, Atticus, 12, with Isabella Hofmann, and Avis Ann, 15 months, with Joanne.

There’s another little Duggar on the way!

21-year-old Joshua Duggar, the eldest of 18 children born to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, is expecting a child with his wife Anna.

“I am very excited and am learning new ways every day that I can be there for my wife,” Joshua told People. “I thought that she would be the only one going through the emotions of pregnancy, but I’m right there with her.”

In fact, Joshua is so involved that he’s the one who broke the big news to Anna!

“I took the pregnancy test, but I couldn’t bear to look at it because I didn’t want to be disappointed,” Anna explained. Joshua kept the results a secret and announced it to Anna and his entire family later that night. “I said, ‘You’re going to join the Mommy team,’” Joshua says.

Dear me - I can only imagine Christmases in that house!
