Geri Halliwell had a great big kiss for her three-year-old daughter Bluebell yesterday.

The former Spice Girl was spotted picking up her adorable little girl from school yesterday. The cute mommy-daughter duo then headed into central London to grab a bite to eat at Cafe Rouge.

It looks like Bluebell will live up to her flowery name and spend some time in the garden! The flame-haired two-year-old and her mom, former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell stocked up on a trip to Homebase in Hampstead yesterday.

Geri selected some colorful bedding plants and a bring pink watering can, which her daughter was only too happy to hold. They also purchased a trowel and some sunflower seeds, so it looks like they’re planning on taking advantage of the warmer spring weather ahead!

They say being a mother is one of the hardest jobs in the world, but being a single mom brings its own set of challenges. Spice Girl Geri Halliwell sat down with Glamour UK to talk about raising her daughter Bluebell Madonna, who turns two today!

Geri may be a superstar, but she said she feels no different to any other single mom.

“So many women today are single parents, I don’t feel different. I feel blessed to have her. I’m learning every day as a mother, my compassion has expanded.”

Girls today are under even more pressure to have the perfect body, which is something Geri – a former anorexic, bulimic, and binge eater – is all too aware of. But she’s determined to ensure her daughter doesn’t go through the same struggles.

“I want to have a healthy body image for Bluebell I think it’s good to promote a healthy example, so whatever shape she is, she loves herself.”

Geri also revealed she’d love to expand her family. She’s apparently considering adopting a child to give Bluebell a sibling.

“I have a sister and would love to be able to give Bluebell that gift. I feel I have the capacity to love a child that’s not mine in blood. Before I had Bluebell, even a long time ago, I thought about [adoption]. I’m open to what life brings. I’m educating myself about adoption at the moment.”

Geri always seems like such a grounded mom. I’d love to see her with another little one!

At one point the Spice Girls’ Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham weren’t even speaking. But it seems all is forgiven, with the girls mending their friendship now they’re mellow moms!

Geri has a two-year-old daughter Bluebell, and Victoria is mom to her three boys Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz.

“I have huge admiration for Victoria. She had her boys with her the whole time [the Spice Girls were on tour] and she’s done such a great job with them – they are all so well mannered and caring,” Geri told You Magazine. “Victoria and I are actually the biggest supporters of each other. We feel really proud of one another.”

Well that’s certainly singing a different tune! In the same interview Geri also praised her fellow Spice Girl Melanie Brown’s nine-year-old daughter Phoenix Chi. Geri said the little girl is “a delight” who is “amazing with the toddlers.”

I’m so used to those British popettes being catty to one another! I’m sure this is much more fun for their kiddies though!
