I haven’t been able to pick up any pregnant ladies on the red carpet of tonight’s Grammy Awards (oh, the surrealness of writing this blog sometimes gets to me!) but I was able to get a few of our favorite celebrity moms rocking the red carpet. We’ll start with the German Goddess, Heidi Klum and her man Seal:

We also had new mom Jennifer Hudson, who’s looking svelte and maybe even a little uncomfortable in this fitted blazer.

While those of us in the East Coast were left to watch re-runs indoors and pray we don’t break our backs when we leave the house after the Storm Of The Decade, Heidi Klum and Seal were as usual, without a care in the world! In today’s creepiest paparazzi photo of the day, Heidi Klum was photographed with her little darlings and nanny shopping at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. Heidi does like every celebrity (and me, as a frequent sufferer of headaches) and keeps her shades on indoors, as if any of us could ever fail to recognize that perfect German face. Here’s an interesting little tidbit: Seal opened up to the Daily Express about adopting Leni, wife Heidi Klum’s daughter from her previous relationship with Flavio Briatore. Seal began dating Heidi when she was three weeks pregnant with Leni and has always raised her as his own daughter. He says Flavio handled the situation well, “like an adult” and has “nothing but good things to say” about Heidi’s ex. And it’s true: how would anyone feel if their partner started dating someone else while carrying their child? That had to be a rough blow to Flavio.

Despite the fact that she is now disgusting and obese now that she’s gained 20 pounds from the recent birth of her baby, Lou Samuel, Heidi Klum still managed to walk in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show last Friday. She obviously did not go out in her underwear (think of our eyes!), but instead walked out in uh, she walked out in this:

Aww, the normally super-human Heidi Klum has found herself with a very un-super human problem: she’s reportedly having a hard time losing the baby weight from her new daughter, Lou. She attributes the difficulty in getting rid of those pesky pounds to her age: “It was different when I was 31 with the first one and now being 36 with the fourth one.”
This is a bit different from what she said a few months ago, when she vowed she would “take it easy” after this birth and not focus on losing the weight. Klum has just annoucned she is hosting …read more

Supermodel and force of nature Heidi Klum finally did give birth to her daughter last weekend, on Friday, October 9. The bundle of joy was named Lou Sulola Samuel (Samuel is husband Seal’s last name; Heidi recently applied to change her name to Heidi Samuel) and is the couple’s fourth child and second daughter.
Seal told Modelinia that the new little girl is “beautiful beyond words” and that it was “endless love at first sight.”

Heidi Klum is due to give birth to her new baby any day now! Reports surfaced earlier this week that Heidi had checked into the hospital, which naturally her rep denied. Then, Radar Online went trigger happy and reported that Heidi had given birth to a baby girl named Lou early this morning. It gets interesting because Just Jared posted a correction to their take on Radar’s story, saying that Heidi is still at home resting. Radar has not posted any kind of retraction on their site. Pregnant supermom and German powerhouse Heidi Klum
has applied to change her name to Heidi Samuel, matching the most normal of her husband’s five last names. No wonder Seal went the one-word route: his full name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adelo Samuel. I think Heidi Adelo has a nice ring to it as well!
Heidi’s most recent pregnancy keeps moving along and never one to relax, she’s been photographed a ton in figure-flattering black dresses and hanging out with the other members of the Klum-Samuel tribe.

The Emmys were on last night and like most people, I was mostly watching to check out the fashions. There weren’t many pregnant celebrities in attendance, except for Heidi Klum, who basically works until she’s a minute away from giving birth. Heidi was nominated for her work as host of Project Runway, unfortunately, she lost to Jeff Probst of Survivor. Who else could you imagine pulling off a strapless gown this far into their pregnancy?
