Exodus Tyson Critical After Treadmill Accident
May 26, 2009 by lkatulka
Exodus Tyson, the four-year-old daughter of boxer Mike Tyson, was critically injured in a home accident yesterday.
The girl became ensnared in a treadmill cable at her Phoenix home. She was found hanging from the cable by her seven-year-old brother Miguel, who alerted his mother. She removed the cable and called 911.
“Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console – it’s kind of a loop. Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it,” explained Police Sergeant Andy Hill.
Emergency personnel performed CPR before rushing Exodus to St. Joe’s Hospital. She is currently on life support in an “extremely critical” condition. Mike has travelled from Las Vegas to Phoenix to be by his daughter’s bedside.

Max Sheen Released from Hospital
April 8, 2009 by lkatulka
Max Sheen, the twin son of Charlie and Brooke Sheen, has been released from hospital. The baby boy was kept at the hospital longer than his brother Bob as he did not meet the weight requirement. But it seems the little one has packed on enough pounds!
“It’s frustrating to be a parent and not have your family home with you. This is the last week of Two and a Half Men [which is going on hiatus], so Charlie and Brooke will be able to spend some quality time with their kids,” Charlie’s rep said.
I’m sure they’re all going to enjoy that time together! How wonderful it must be to have that hospital time behind them!

Charlie Sheen’s Son Too Tiny to Leave Hospital
Charlie Sheen has confirmed that his newborn son Max is still in hospital. However the rumors that a heart condition is to blame aren’t true at all. The two-and-a-half-week-old bub just hasn’t gained enough weight to be safely discharged.
“Max is expected to reach the weight requirement shortly and will join his brother at home. The Sheens appreciate the outpouring of concern but have assured everyone that both Bob and Max are fine,” a statement read.
It continues that gaining weight “is very common among infants who were born before reaching full term.”
Max and his fraternal twin Bob were born six weeks prematurely.
“I know a lot of people are not fond of hospital food. I just didn’t realize they that started so young,” the actor joked.
I hope he’s home with his twin brother and family soon!

Angelina Admitted to France Hospital
July 1, 2008 by lkatulka

Angelina Jolie has been admitted to Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, in anticipation of the arrival of her twins.
But that doesn’t mean they’re coming any time soon. Hospital spokesperson Nadine Bauer says she is there for normal pregnancy monitoring, adding that “there was no medical emergency.”
There is more than a month to go before her rumored August due date, but it is likely Ange will remain in the hospital until she gives birth. Apparently this “is something she had planned with her doctor for the end of the pregnancy for some time.
“She had been advised it would be a good idea to rest during the final days and it has been booked for a while now.”
Ms Bauer added that Angelina is “very happy and in excellent health.”
Sounds like a good idea to me, and an excellent way to stay away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi!
