Brooke Smith Talks About Adoption

Grey’s Anatomy star Brooke Smith has revealed more details about the Ethiopian orphan she adopted recently.
Brooke said she’s overjoyed about the arrival of little Lucy Dinknesh, especially considering the adoption took more than a year to process.
“Adoption is something I always wanted to do,” she told USA Today.
“There are 5 million orphans in Ethiopia. I just told them, ‘Boy or girl, 18 months or younger,’ and then they choose and call you when the baby’s ready.
“And I got the best one. She’s a pretty great mellow Zen Buddha baby.”
It sounds like they’re having a wonderful time together. Congratulations to the new family!
