Another celebrity momma snapped while shopping this week was Nicole Richie, who also wore her sunglasses indoors while she dropped a bit of cash with her daughter Harlow Madden. It looks like despite the fact that Nicole received a restraining order against certain paparazzi photographers, others are still following her around. Nicole was involved in a minor accident earlier this year while photographers were trying to snap a photo of her.

Well, this isn’t very good news: Nicole Richie, who’d been complaining of being sick on her Twitter account earlier this week, admitted herself to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles yesterday. Her rep says she’s “responding well” to treatment.
Joel Madden, who may or may not be her husband (TMZ says they are not though they refer to each other as husband and wife), has remained quiet on the matter on his Twitter, instead re-tweeting a bunch of links. Nicole Richie, who recently gave birth to her second child, Sparrow, was rear-ended by a paparazzi photographer in Los Angeles today. While TMZ reports that she went to her own doctor, Fame Pictures says her husband Joel rushed to her side and they went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. It doesn’t look like Nicole has any serious injuries. Neither Nicole nor Joel, both prolific Twitter users, have Tweeted about the incident today. The photographer was booked for driving with out a license.

Nicole Richie is expecting her second child with Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden! The new dad-to-be-announced the news on the Good Charlotte blog.
“What’s better than winning an Oscar?” he asked. I guess it’s becoming a father again, because he went on to write, “I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family. Hope you’re all feeling as good as I am right now.”
Harlow was born 13 months ago. There’s no word on one this little bundle will appear, but I guess we’ll find out soon enough!

With their babies born just a day apart, it makes sense that songbird Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie would become fast friends. A mutual pair introduced the moms and the rest is history.
Christina says she is “blown away with how great of a mom she [Nicole] is” to 10-month-old Harlow Madden.

Celebrity parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are set to commence their first major charity project. The Richie-Madden Foundation plans to build a playground at Beyond Shelter, a low-income housing project in Los Angeles. Currently the site has 175 kids, and no recreational facilities.
