Aussie DJ Ditches Radio Show For Son’s Birth

It’s poor form to ditch your radio co-host halfway through your show, but Australian comedian Peter Helliar had a really good excuse this week. His wife was in labour!
Pete raced home to collect his wife Bridget and arrived at Melbourne Hospital just in time to deliver third son Oscar on Tuesday morning.
“We thought we were almost going to have a freeway baby,” Pete told The Daily Telegraph.
Oscar is the latest, and reportedly final, addition to the Helliar family which also includes five-year-old Liam and three-year-old Aidan.
