Portia de Rossi has put paid to those pregnancy rumors, telling the LA Times that while motherhood would be “amazing and exciting and wonderful,” it’s something she and wife Ellen DeGeneres “definitely” won’t experience “in the near future.”

“It isn’t really something that’s on the immediate horizon for us.”
Portia adds that she has no idea how rumors surfaced that she was undergoing IVF, but that she doesn’t really mind the talk!

“It’s great that Ellen and I are a gay couple and people are open-minded enough to talk about us having a family,” Portia explained.

“I feel like we kind of get all the same stuff that any heterosexual couple would get in the public eye. And that is great, that is wonderful - including the baby bump.”

But Portia draws the line at those incriminating tabloid photos.

“I just don’t want those horrible pictures in magazines where they circle your stomach and point and go ‘baby bump,’” she admits.

Kate Moss has spoken about those pregnancy rumors that have even her closest friends guessing! But it sounds like we won’t hear the pitter-patter of mini-model feet anytime soon. Kate has just gained a little weight!

She doesn’t seem to mind though, adding that she feels like “a woman” because she finally needs a bra! But she does wish those persistent rumors would stop.

“It’s so awful, even my friends are phoning me up and saying ‘Are you pregnant?’ And I’m like, ‘No! I just put on a couple of pounds, and they went in the right place.’”

Looks like Kate’s six-year-old daughter Lila Grace might have to wait a little longer to be a big sister!

Did Niki Taylor just let the sex of her unborn baby slip? Early on Niki insisted she was keeping the gender a secret, but she may have let the cat out of the bag!

Papierdoll Magazine asked the mom-to-be whether her 14-year-old twins Jake and Hunter will be on babysitting duty. She said no, adding “I’m only having one this time so I want him all to myself.”

Well then!

Some people might see a 14 year old age gap as too much, but Niki says she thinks it’s a positive.

“I’m only having one this time so I want him all to myself.”

As she knows the sex of her baby, you might expect Niki to already have a name picked out. But she insists that’s the responsibility of her husband, Burney Lamar.

“That’s my husband’s job,” she explains. “I know the name, too, but I don’t want to say anything yet.”

Hopefully she won’t inadvertently let that slip too!

Nicole Kidman might be ready to expand her family, but she’s not pregnant yet!

The 41-year-old actress has denied the rumors, adding that she simply has “a little tummy,” just like the other women in her family!

“I think I’ve always had a little tummy, though, it runs in the family. My sister does, my mum does, my grandmother did … we affectionately refer to it as the ‘little tummy,’” Nicole explained.

“My god, I just had a baby four months ago - give me a break!”

For now Nicole is focusing all her energy on daughter Sunday Rose who has “just discovered her voice.”"She was singing up a storm this morning. She’s high and low. Other people may call it screaming - but not to me!”

The rumor mill is buzzing that Jessica Simpson is pregnant. Tongues started wagging when the stunning singer wore a flowing dress to her 28th birthday celebrations in California.

“She definitely looked bigger than she usually does, and her breasts seemed to have swollen too … She also kept holding a grey jumper in front of her stomach, as if she was trying to hide something,” an onlooker said.

This photo was snapped on Saturday and it doesn’t really give anything away. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but I can’t help being a little excited at the prospect of two pregnant Simpson sisters!

Is Nicole Richie pregnant again? The latest rumor out of Hollywood is that Ms Richie is expecting a sibling for her five-month-old daughter Harlow!

“Nicole is dying to have a sibling for Harlow who is close in age,” a source told Star magazine. “She doesn’t want them to be more than two years apart, so that they can be best friends forever.”

Nicole’s also been spotted wearing some flowing tops and comfy boots lately, which of course has everyone’s tongues wagging. Nevermind that it’s the fashion these days!

“The top was not something Nicole usually wears,” the mag reported. “She ordinarily goes for tight T-shirts and vest tops. The other unusual thing was that she was wearing comfy sheepskin boots and not her usual heels - the boots definitely looked like something a pregnant woman would wear.”

The rumors seem a little thin at this point, but it’d be kind of exciting if Nicole and Joel had another little one so soon!

Billie Piper and hubby Laurence Fox are still coming mum about those pregnancy rumors, but it doesn’t stop people chatting to the press.

One source told Mail Online Billie craves Greek food, and her man is only too happy to indulge her.

“Billie is always hungry, so Laurence is cooking non-stop. He’s doing moussakas, Greek salads and meze,” the source said.

Another source reported Laurence is “working 24/7 to make Billie feel cared for. He wakes up during the night to check if she is OK.”

It all sounds sweet, but I’m loathe to trust those anonymous tips. I guess we’ll find out sooner or later whether they’re all true!

For what it’s worth, she looks pretty pregnant to me!

We heard they were, then he said they weren’t, but now we know they are! Yes those Ashlee Simpson pregnancy rumors were confusing, but Pete Wentz has now spoken out on why he initially denied the story.

“Every woman, no matter who they are or what they do for a living, has the right to wait at least 3 months before sharing this very personal news. We wanted to wait until after the first trimester and get a clean bill of health from our doctors before confirming anything, just like any other couple,” he told MTV.

He also said the rumors caught him off guard, adding that “being a boy I have no idea how to respond to such things and my first instinct was to protect her and the baby.

“It’s insane that you can’t let happy news brew in Hollywood. This wasn’t about press or anything. It was about the health of the baby and trying to find a way to be happy with what should be the most happy time of our lives in the middle of a press blitz. I apologize to anyone who felt misinformed but the truth is, the person and growing baby is who I felt most loyal to protect and defend.”

I’m sure most parents can relate to what he’s saying. I love the way he put it too. I admit, I don’t know a lot about Pete Wentz outside of his work with Fall Out Boy, but after reading this I have a hunch he’s going to make an excellent father.

Pete and Ashlee expect their first baby this fall.

We’ve been hearing whispers all week that Angelina Jolie has given birth to her twins, but it’s all completely untrue.

“Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France,” a spokesperson for the actress told People magazine.

Looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer for the big announcement!

Is Nicole Kidman having a boy? Perez Hilton seems to think so!

Perez says sources close to Nicole has revealed the news to him exclusively. But he isn’t the only one gossiping about Nic.

The Los Angeles Times claims its sources say Nicole has “just six weeks” left before the birth of her first child. The rag also insists Nicole’s stayed so tiny because she’s been hitting the gyms in L.A.

“She’s been spinning on at a gym on Montana Avenue and at Body and Soul in West Hollywood throughout her pregnancy, and that has kept her extra weight down,” it said.

But we can slam one rumor. Many websites claimed Nicole was set to strip down a la Demi Moore for a provocative pregnant photo shoot. Not so it seems.

“It’s madness to think I did that or was even asked to do that,” Nicole said. “I’m just looking forward to having and caring for our baby.”

It sounds to me like she’s got her priorities in order. I just hope those workout rumors aren’t true. If she does have six weeks left, she needs to rest rather than stress about a few extra pounds!
