A Baby Boy for Bristol Palin
Governor Sarah Palin’s teenage daughter Bristol has given birth to a baby boy in Alaska.
Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston is the first child for Bristol and her boyfriend Levi Johnston.
“We think it’s wonderful,” said Bristol Palin’s great aunt Colleen Jones told People.
“The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited.”
The Governor’s office refused to comment on the birth, adding that it was a private family matter.
Bristol and Levi are reportedly planning to marry next year.

Sarah Palin’s Teen Daughter Pregnant
September 2, 2008 by lkatulka

The internet rumor mill has been abuzz with talk that Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol was in fact the mother of baby Trig Palin. Not so says Sarah, but she admitted her 17-year-old daughter is pregnant. That certainly explains the little baby bump in the photos that were circulating!
Bristol plans to keep the baby and marry the father known as Levi.
In a statement the Palins said their daughter “came to us with news that we as parents knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned.” They confirmed their daughter has their unconditional love and support.”
The Palins have asked the media to respect their daughter’s privacy during this time, but I honestly can’t see it happening.
The big question remains though: how will this revelation about his running mate’s daughter affect John McCain’s campaign?

Sarah Palin Chosen as McCain’s Running Mate
August 30, 2008 by lkatulka
Congratulations to Sarah Palin, governor of Alaska, mom of five and now running-mate for Republican presidential candidate John McCain!
“Hillary [Clinton] left 18 million cracks in the highest, hardest glass ceiling in America, but it turns out the women of America aren’t finished yet, and we can shatter that glass ceiling once and for all,” she told the excited crowd in a rally at Ohio.
Sarah Palin is mom to sons Track, 18, and baby Trig, and daughters Bristol, 17, Willow, 13, and Piper, 7.
Choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate might just the smartest thing John McCain could have done.

It was rumored when little Trig was born, and now Alaskan governor Sarah Palin has confirmed it. Her newborn son has Down Syndrome. She said she learnt of the condition when she was four months pregnant.
“I’ve never had problems with my other pregnancies, so I was shocked. It took a while to open up the book that the doctor gave me about children with Down syndrome, and a while to log on to the website and start reading facts about the situation,” she told Associated Press.
“[My husband Todd said,] we shouldn’t be asking ‘Why us?’ We should be saying ‘Well, why not us?’ We’ve both been very vocal about being pro life. We understand that every innocent life has wonderful potential. I’m looking at him right now, and I see perfection. Yeah, he has an extra chromosome. I keep thinking, in our world, what is normal and what is perfect?”
Trig Paxson Van Palin was born on April 18. I’m sure with such loving and supportive parents he’ll grow up to do just fine!
Alaskan Governor Welcomes Baby Boy
April 20, 2008 by lkatulka
Alaskan governor Sarah Palin has given birth to her fifth child, Trig Paxson Van Palin, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Centre. The little boy wasn’t due until May 18, but he just couldn’t wait greeting the world at 6:30 am on April 18. He weighed 6 lb. and 2 oz.
Sarah’s waters broke while she was attending an energy conference in Texas, but she stayed and delivered her 30-minute speech before getting on a plane and returning home for the birth. Now that’s dedication!
“Trig is beautiful and already adored by us,” Sarah and her husband Todd said in a press statement. “We knew through early testing he would face special challenges, and we feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift and allow us unspeakable joy as he entered our lives. We have faith that every baby is created for good purpose and has potential to make this world a better place. We are truly blessed.”
The couple has not explained what these “special challenges” are, but a family friend has reportedly said Trig has Down Syndrome.
His unusual first name is a Norse word meaning “true” and “brave victory.” The name is a tribute to Trig’s great uncle, a Bristol Bay fisherman. Paxson is a well known Alaskan snowmobiling area which Sarah and her husband Todd love.
Trig joins siblings 18-year-old Track, 17-year-old Bristol, 13-year-old Willow, and seven-year-old Piper.
Congratulations to the Palin family! No matter what these special challenges are, I’m sure they’ll have enough love to get them through!
