Sophie Ellis-Bextor Delivers Premature Son

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has given birth to another son after a somewhat scary birth. Kit Valentine Jones was born nine weeks premature on February 7. He tipped the scales at a tiny 2 lb. 10 oz.
Sophie’s mum Janet Ellis told the BBC, “Sophie’s just had her second little boy. He was early, nine weeks early, but he is doing fine. He is doing very well.”
Kit is the second child for Sophie and her bass player husband Richard Jones. He joins big brother Sonny, 4, who was born eight weeks premature. It sounds like delivering those babies must be a stressful business for the British pop star!

Sophie Ellis Bextor Is Expecting

Sophie Ellis Bextor is pregnant again! The British popstar announced the happy news on her official website.
“I’ll be having a break around March [or] April as I am very happy to share with you all the news that I am having another baby.”
The new arrival will be the second baby for Sophie and her husband Richard Jones. They are also proud parents to four-year-old Sonny.
