Lately Jen’s been resting at home with her newborn daughter Seraphina, while husband Ben Affleck’s collected Violet from school. But Jen’s playing taxi again as Ben is promoting his new movie He’s Just Not That into You.

Ben Affleck played Mr Mom yesterday, collecting his three-year-old daughter Violet from preschool.

Ben skillfully juggled her coat and schoolbag while Violet showed the paparazzi her latest artwork. Is that a picture of her mom Jennifer Garner or new baby sister Seraphina? It’s so hard to tell!

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have announced the name of their seven-day-old daughter. They have chosen the very pretty moniker, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck.

Seraphina was born on January 6 in Los Angeles. She joins the couple’s eldest daughter, three-year-old Violet Anne Affleck. Juding by the T-shirt she’s wearing, the adorable tot is pretty proud to be a big sister!

Both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were on preschool duty today. Ben carried their squirmy three-year-old daughter Violet Affleck, while new mom-to-be Jennifer covered her baby bump in a beautiful gray coat.

Pregnancy hasn’t slowed Jennifer Garner down, with the pregnant actress spending plenty of time out and about with her three-year-old daughter Violet Affleck.

Jen says she’s inspired by her own mother, who was a homemaker raising three children. The elder Mrs Garner wishes she’d worked “just a little bit,” and her daughter is trying to find the same balance.

“Finding a balance that’s right for you is hard when you’re trying to have a little bit of everything,” she said.

“I want to have playgroups and go to art classes and be a part of everything. At the same time, a lot of women have been raised to have a career, and you also want to be a good wife and a good girlfriend and it’s a lot to do. What do I miss? I miss reading and seeing my friends.”

That balance could prove harder to find when Jennifer welcomes her second child with husband Ben Affleck this winter. But for now she’s just enjoying the perks of pregnancy, including indulging her sweet tooth.

“I always have cravings. It doesn’t matter if I’m pregnant or not! I use pregnancy as an excuse to say I’m craving ice cream and chocolate, but really, that’s just me,” she laughs.

I like that tactic!
